Color Sets The Mood

Warm colors, like yellow and red convey warmth, energy and intimacy. They’re frequently associated with fire and heat as well. Cooler colors, like blue and green convey peace, strength, growth and grandeur. They’re often associated with water, sky or ice. Neutral colors, like black or white convey mystery or sophistication (black), or purity and softness (white). These colors can also help apply focus onto other colors.

Size

Whether you’re looking for church stage designs for small churches or large, it is important to size your church backdrop accordingly. Large elements on a small stage make the stage seem larger and can attract focus to the elements on stage. Small elements can make a large stage seem smaller, creating a more intimate setting for your audience. It is also important to see your stage as a scene with depth consisting of a foreground, middle ground and background. The size of the elements you choose indicates position and creates visual hierarchy on stage. Generally, larger elements will make up your background, with smaller elements in the foreground. 

Our standard Flat Panel Sails come as short as 4’, and as long as 30’. Purples Lighting’s backgrounds and portals can go up to 40’. Panel Wall Tiles are as small as 2’. If you need something smaller or larger to help create your stage, we can create any of our products in a custom size as needed.
